2012 Order of Merit Up-Date

Order of Merit prize fund increased!!! Thanks to the support of members for the new summer-long OoM, the competition sponsors have increased the prize fund.
Liz Blows, founder and secretary of the Stiff Person Syndrome Support Group, said today : "The response of members has been far better than any of us dared hope, so as a big "thank you" we wanted to increase the prize fund."
The OoM "pot", the Clubs biggest prize fund, has been increased to £480, broken down below:

Club Caprain Brendan O'Connor welcomed the Beverley-based charity's decision. He said: "It is a very generous gesture which the Club very much appreciates and I hope the members realise how lucky we are to have such a good sponsor. It bodes well for future collaborations with the charity"
